Congratulations to Hee Joo, Class of 2016, who has been awarded the 2016 Dittman/Lebo Scholarship! This scholarship was established by Prof. Frank Dittman who was one of the Department’s founding fathers. He retired in 1987. Prof. Dittman began a scholarship for well-rounded chemical and biochemical engineers. He took into account not only excellent grades but extracurricular activities, research experience, volunteer work and financial need. Unfortunately funds became unavailable. Timothy Lebo, Class of 2009, was the last recipient of the Dittman Scholarship in 2008.
